Double (two) Earlobe Piercing - Extended Time

Both Earlobes, not one! A slightly longer earlobe piercing appointment suitable for children (children must be old enough to ask for the piercing themselves and be able to show understanding of aftercare requirements) or anyone who has good reason to want more time than a standard appointment allows. Please note that if you decide on the day that are unable to go ahead with your piercings, you still have to pay the balance due. This policy includes everyone, irrespective of age.

Piercings are carried out using needles, and the price includes basic titanium jewellery. Upgraded jewellery is available on the day at an additional cost, which varies according to your choice of jewellery. Full price will be payable if a client feels unable to go ahead with their piercing on the day of the appointment.

Children MUST be old enough to ask for their piercing themselves and be able to show that they are ready to be pierced. A small amount of nerves is normal but if someone is so nervous that they are crying, refusing the piercing or showing signs of non-consent, the piercing cannot go ahead and the full remaining balance will be payable. It is not my job to convince your child to be pierced, this decision should already have been made at home. Extra charges of £10 per 15 minutes or part thereof will be payable should you require more than 30 minites for your appointment.

Faux Snug Piercing

The Snug is a long piece of dense cartilage in between your Rook and anti-tragus. It is traditionally pierced horizontally near the base of the snug in the manner of a surface piercing. The needle enters and exits on the same plane, like a sewing stitch. Not everyone wants one, and not everyone can have one, so the Faux Snug is a good alternative!

A Faux Snug is basically a conch and a helix piercing, done with flat-back bars. Unlike a traditional Snug piercing, these two piercings both exit through the back of the ear instead. The bars need to be downsized after initial healing but from the front, this piercing looks like a healed snug piercing would right from the word go....and the swelling is more manageable for most people.

Great if your natural Snug isn't deep enough to support a piercing
Great if you want the look of a close-fitting bar straight away
Great for extra choice because it also becomes an Orbital if you wear a ring in it like I do with mine.
Great if you struggle to heal piercings in dense cartilage or find the swelling associated with normal Snug piercings hard to cope with.

Profhilo Skin Boosters

Profhilo® is a hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into skin, Profhilo® stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin. Clients generally require a course of two treatments taken 8 weeks apart. One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity.

PROCEDURE

Profhilo is injected in to 5 specific points on each side of the face. The treatment usually takes around 30 minutes.

POINTS TO NOTE

Profhilo is NOT a Dermal Filler, it is a Skin Booster. Profhilo works by dispersing Hylauronic Acid throughout the face as a whole rather than working only on one small area like fillers do. It's end result is one of smoothing and plumping the skin in the whole of the face.

Aqualyx - Lipomas

A lipoma is a fatty tumor located just below the skin. It isn't cancer and is usually harmless. A lipoma is a slow-growing, fatty lump that's most often situated between your skin and the underlying muscle layer. A lipoma, which feels doughy and usually isn't tender, moves readily with slight finger pressure. They can be removed surgically by being cut out however Aqualyx can also help by dissolving the fatty cells of the lump and possibly eradicating the need for surgery.

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst Aqualyx will destroy the fat cells in the treated area thus reducing the size of the Lipoma, your body can produce more fat cells if your lifestyle choices encourage it. More than one treatment will be necessary for larger areas. If your lipoma is caused by disorders relating to your liver, Aqualyx will not be suitable for its removal.

Costs are per lipoma per session however, a flat cost can be agreed for the treatment of multiple lipomas in one session if they vary in size. Pay your deposit as normal and the final cost will be agreed at the studio before the treatment begins.

Vitamin B12 Single

If you are unable to absorb Vitamin B12 through your gut, injections are a suitable way to get your treatment. Sadly not all GP surgeries administer or prescribe B12 so if you are one of the unlucky people who need B12 but cannot obtain the injections through your GP, I can help.

ETHICS INFORMATION

Whilst anyone can have a B12 injection, not everyone needs to. For many, tablets will suffice and these can be bought for as little as 99p. The only people who have a medical need for injectable vitamins are those who are unable to absorb vitamins through the gut.

Piercings are carried out using needles, and the price includes basic titanium jewellery. Upgraded jewellery is available on the day at an additional cost, which varies according to your choice of jewellery.

Aqualyx is a compound which disrupts the structure of the fat cell wall and allows the fat to drain out of the body as natural waste through the digestive system. Most areas requires 2-3 sessions with each session being carried put 4 weeks apart. Smaller areas such as the chin, chest or pubic region often see a degree of success after one treatment but larger areas such as full stomach, thighs, hips, bra area, arms and so on are unlikely to see quick results.

Fat cells treated with Aqualyx are permanently destroyed however your body can and will build new fat cells if your lifestyle choices encourage this. I’ve had my nose pierced in various places,3 times actually, always ending up taking it out after 2/3 weeks of excruciating pain. I was so scared but said I’ll give it another and last try and if it’s still hurting maybe it isn’t for me. Found this studio and read the reviews and it felt like the right place but I certainly didn’t expected to feel little to no pain when I had it done, and the recovery?? In 3 days time I felt just a minimal discomfort, now about 10 days after looks so clean and it’s like it was there sincer forever ! Did I mentioned I had the choice to get a nose hoop straight on ?! I am so so happy ,I couldn’t thank this lady enough !!!

Fantastic place to go for piercings. I took my 7 year old daughter to have her ears pierced for the first time (after begging me for months). Lyndsey was fantastic from start to finish. She explained every step to my daughter of what she was going to do and what she would use to do it. Lyndsey obviously takes pride in what she does and has high standards for her shop, everything was clean and hygienic. Very impressed and grateful that my daughters experience was a good one
